CURRENT PROJECT: FIRST RESPONDERS IN NEW ORLEANS
We are writing thank you notes to the the police, EMTs, firefighters, doctors, nurses & other 1st Responders who had the courage to stay in New Orleans through Hurricane Katrina, did things the right way and risked their lives to help others. Increasingly, on the news, there are stories of the isolated individuals who served in one of these positions and did not do things the right way -- all the more reason to recognize those who did. To let them know we don't paint them with a broad brush. To let them know their efforts and their example is appreciated.
You can take part by writing a Thank You note to a First Responder in New Orleans. You can address the note to 'Dear Officer in Louisiana' or 'Dear Doctor in Louisiana' or 'Dear Louisiana Firefighter' or 'To a Member of the NOPD' or "Dear Louisiana Nurse' etc...
The notes can be 5 words, 5 paragraphs, whatever you want. Please be sure to include your first name & city & state (and school or company if you desire) - and please only include that - no last names, no phone number, etc..
You can email your note to Notes@ProjectThankYou.com .
Please put "Louisiana" in heading. No attachments.
